It is healthy to have a break from work, have fun to spice up the mood and get rid of work burnout. If you are thinking of rocking your Friday night away in Accra, the place to be is Club Jokers. Club Jokers is one of the best nightclubs in Accra. It’s situated along the beach; you will definitely get to enjoy the night cool breeze, easy to spot when you are driving along Labadi road; the huge entrance billboard in attractive collection of red, yellow and blue colors with the label ‘Jokers’ welcomes you. There is also ample parking space, not so big though but enough to accommodate the clients.

Time

Make sure you do not turn up before 2200hrs GMT. The club opens exactly at that time though favors can come your way depending on how much you know the managers of the club. There is waiting area outside the club where you can relax, take a drink or two to keep you in the mood less you get bored. But again being at this club before time is a benefit; the first ten customers enter for free. Entry charges after a tenth person is at Ghana cedi 10 which is approximately USD 6.

Sex

If you are the type of person who likes to be around women with skimpy clothing, love sex and have fun with easy going women, this place is a perfect hangout for you. The ladies are many and from diverse backgrounds. There are Liberians, Sierra Leones, Nigerians, Ivorians, Togolese and hosts Ghanaians (ladies, you won’t be intimidated). They are good, you need not to worry about your phone and other stuff; they are no thieves. If you are residing in Labadi beach hotel; a famous resort along the beach, you will have an easier time charming them; they love the place.

Beer and Cocktails

Beer at Club Jokers is a bit expensive as compared with other beer selling spots in Accra. They sell both the local and foreign beer. The favorite beer amongst the locals is ‘Star’ but there are other brands such as ‘Stone’. If you feel that the local brew might not go down well with you, there are international brands like ‘Smirnoff’ (both beer and whisky), ‘Guinness’, ‘Savanna’, ‘Baileys’ and many more. A beer of 300ml will cost you cedi 5 or USD 3 while a tot of baileys goes for cedi 20.

Club Space and Music

A club without a dance floor is a club that doesn’t care about its’ customers, and this club understands. It has a big dance floor that can accommodate a good number of couples. The club is huge, partitioned into four. The first part adjacent to the entrance is basically designed for people who like to drink as they chat. There is minimal sound of music that can enable convenient conversation. The second part is a hotel with no music. It’s a nice place away from the noisy environment and food too is nice. The third part is a dance floor fixed with wall mirrors. This is where everybody never wants to miss while in the club hyped by songs played by club’s DJ. The guy is a pro! good music never stops flowing. The last part is a place where you can have lots of fun. There are big screens, pool tables and you can try your luck as you gamble at the casino.

Plus & Minus

Club Jokers have their toilets outside the main club entrance. It means you have to work through the entrance, do your thing and be frisked again. That notwithstanding, ambience at this club is excellent and a perfect place to rock your nightlife in Accra!
