The world’s sexiest man alive was voted and announced by The Onion, Chinese tabloid. North Korean dictator is “Sexiest Man Alive” for 2012. The Chinese gossip magazine ran a survey and surprisingly, the North Korean president came on top.

Yes. The North Korean leader was top ONLY in the world of gossip!!! No survey can be taken in rumor mongering. Many newspapers were taken down including Chinese newspaper, The People’s Daily. The newspaper took the prank by tabloid as the truth.

People’s Daily went ahead to publish 55 page photos of Kim Jong Un under the title, ”North Korea’s top leader named The Onion’s Sexiest Man Alive for 2012.” That was not all, they quoted The Onion:

“With his devastatingly handsome, round face, his boyish charm, and his strong, sturdy frame, this Pyongyang-bred heartthrob is every woman’s dream come true.”

“Blessed with an air of power that masks an unmistakable cute, cuddly side, Kim made this newspaper’s editorial board swoon with his impeccable fashion sense, chic short hairstyle, and, of course, that famous smile,” The People’s Daily quoted The Onion. It was meant to be satire.

In realistic situation, it would be close to impossible to have the almost round, chubby faced North Korea leader to represent men’s sexiest features. It would be a flop in survey if the result is positive.

The “Sexiest Man Alive” for 2012 cannot be Kim Jong Un. Unless based on political and military conundrums. That would be the “Worst News in Years.”

The Onion is famous of taking down major newspaper channels with their gossip. In 2002, it published that U.S. congress was looking for a new building in their plans to get out of Washington. The Chinese Communist Party newspaper, The People’s Daily believed the story and went ahead to make a report basing it on The Onion.

An Iranian news agency, Far News fell into the trap of The Onion just two months ago. The Onion ran a story that white Americans would vote for Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Iranian president than vote for Barack Obama. This is hilarious but was taken seriously by Far News.
